Wing the look with Influenster x Rimmel London

For the last few months now I have been using the app Influenster, if you haven’t heard of them yet I would defo recommend that you check them out, but obviously after you’ve finished having a scroll of my blog! So if it wasn’t obvious enough, today’s post is in association with Influenster after they kindly sent me the Wing the Look box in collaboration with Rimmel London.

WHAT WAS IN THE BOX

Magnif’eyes Nude Edition eye contouring palette*, admittedly Rimmel London isn’t the first place I initially look at when i’m on the hunt for a new eye shadow palette, in all honesty drugstore brands in general are often at the back of my mind when I’m looking to add a new palette to my collection! Especially with the likes of Urban Decay launching their most recent Naked Heat palette, it literally took over my Instagram    ( @missshanlouise if you aren’t already following me ) and was constantly in my face, so it’s not surprising really? So when this arrived at my door it was very much welcomed! I’ve never used an eye contour palette before, but I am LOVIN’ the concept of it all. A deep crease that you can build up gradually and a subtle shimmery lid is very much my go-to, so having a palette that does it all and takes up to next to nothing in my makeup bag is a total win in my eyes! Plus the colour and shade range is so damn perfect for autumn, which is something I am ALL about right now.

Wonder’fully Real Mascara* If you’re at all familiar with my beauty posts, although like all my posts they are kinda few and far between, then you may know that I AM SUCH A SUCKER FOR A DRUGSTORE MASCARA! Seriously, they work so well for me and prior to this little black box arriving at my house I was constantly using the Rimmel London Shake It Fresh mascara. It’s the coolest little tube of mascara because you can actually shake the bottle so it doesn’t dry out and go all gross, which is SO annoying *insert eye roll x 50000* So naturally I’m expecting great things from this wonder’fully pink tube! At first look the applicator is really long, as in the part where the bristles come out of it, is way longer than any mascara that I’ve previously used, but hopefully I will get on well with it as the bristles themselves are plastic and very sparse in comparison to what I’m used to! BRB, just praying for super fluttery lashes.

Wonder Wing eye liner* More recently I’ve stopped using eyeliner, I find it takes me such a long time to get it semi perfect, and in the morning I just really cannot be dealing with that stress, so when a liner is shaped to make it that much easier, it’s fair to say I’m pretty happy! After taring the box part I threw off the liner lid quickly and drew about 5 lines to see if the liner was actually black, and it was! So when I’m not feeling super lazy and want to make my makeup a lil more dramatic, this is the one I’m going to be searching for!
